📋 Description

• Architect and maintain Airbnb’s end-to-end traffic classification ML systems with real-time
• Hardening edge-traffic policies to reduce bot-incident MTTM and ensure signal accuracy across the
• Design evaluation practices to ensure evasion-resistance and rigorous measurement of model
• Develop millisecond-latency inference at the internet edge balancing costs and value.
• Collaborate with security, data platform, and infra teams to integrate scoring into automated
• Serve as ML authority, translating research into practical, scalable engineering guidance.

🎯 Requirements

• 9+ years of applied ML experience in adversarial/non-stationary domains (traffic integrity, bot
• Experience building scalable offline-to-online data pipelines and certified source-of-truth
• Strong model evaluation foundation (ROC/AUC, precision/recall, calibration) and ability to
• Experience with large-scale data engineering (SQL data warehouses) and feature engineering on
• Knowledge of internet edge systems (CDN/load balancer behavior, HTTP/TLS signatures) and signal
• Proven cross-functional leadership and mentorship in technical design and data contracts.
