Data Support Analyst

📋 Description

• Fulfill data requests: Respond to ad-hoc data and reporting requests from Sales and other internal
• Translate business needs: Clarify questions, understand requirements, identify data sources
• Investigate data issues: Analyze discrepancies, missing records, and unusual results to find causes
• Resolve and escalate issues: Address straightforward issues independently; document and escalate
• Support data operations: Assist with data maintenance, validation, quality checks, and reporting
• Improve self-service: Create reusable queries, reports, docs, and resources to reduce repetitive

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience: 3–6 years in data analysis, BI, analytics support, data operations, or
• SQL expertise: Strong SQL skills for querying data, investigating discrepancies, and
• Analytics tools: Experience with Databricks or Count; familiarity with modern data/analytics
• Spreadsheet proficiency: Advanced skills with data validation, lookups, pivots, etc.
• Business analysis: Ability to translate loosely defined requests into clear analytical outputs.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.
