Software Engineer II

📋 Description

• Maintain and modernize a business-critical VB.NET WinForms desktop application for monthly billing
• Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and SQL Server components; manage SQL Server
• Build features and enhancements as part of platform modernization.
• Contribute to migration toward a web-based architecture using ASP.NET Core and Blazor; guided by
• Write and expand automated tests (unit, functional, regression) to improve reliability.
• Participate in code reviews; follow coding standards and code-audit processes.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong experience with VB.NET and .NET Framework; production apps maintenance.
• Hands-on experience building WinForms desktop applications (MDI).
• Strong T-SQL and SQL Server skills: design, optimization, stored procedures, SQL Server Agent.
• Experience developing automated tests in a .NET environment (unit/functional/regression).
• Fluent English communication; ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
