Principal Software Engineer - Multi-Cloud Control Plane - Kubernetes

📋 Description

• Set technical direction for cloud-native platform across multiple teams
• Own hard, ambiguous problems in multi-cloud topology and control-plane design
• Define architecture for Kubernetes, distributed systems, and hyperscaler infra at scale
• Partner with senior leaders to drive architectural decisions and best practices
• Design critical components like control planes and infrastructure abstractions
• Mentor staff and principal engineers to grow technical leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years distributed systems experience in production
• Deep Kubernetes expertise (multi-cluster, multi-region, multi-tenant)
• Hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP and managed Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE)
• Leadership across multiple engineering teams without positional authority
• Strong Go programming skills
