📋 Description
- Lead experiments to characterize and calibrate two-qubit gates on tunable-coupler devices.
- Identify gate-error bottlenecks and isolate their origins via experiments, benchmarking, and
- Develop calibration methods using optimal pulses, dynamical decoupling, and scalable automation.
- Improve metrology for full-processor Hamiltonian and correlate with gate performance.
- Prepare Rigetti devices for internal and external use and translate literature to production
🎯 Requirements
- PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience calibrating two-qubit gates on superconducting devices; tunable couplers a plus.
- Strong understanding of gate design, pulse engineering, decoherence, and fidelity improvements.
- Ability to execute complex experiments from concept to validated result.
- Strong Python skills and building tools for scientific use.
- Rigorous experimental work ethic and clear, collaborative communication.
