📋 Description
- Perform manual and exploratory testing of a web-based weather visualization platform.
- Verify radar displays, map layers, storm patterns, and data visualizations.
- Participate in live testing during tornado outbreaks and significant weather events.
- Identify, investigate, document, and communicate bugs and anomalies.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
- Evaluate end-user experience and suggest enhancements.
🎯 Requirements
- Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or weather-related discipline
- Deep understanding of weather concepts, radar maps, forecasting models, storm tracking, and data
- Regular user of different weather applications, visualization tools, or weather data sources.
- Strong English communication and documentation skills, particularly describing software bugs
- Comfortable navigating web applications and testing across multiple browsers and devices.
- Familiarity with QA concepts such as exploratory testing and regression testing is an advantage.
