📋 Description

• Perform manual and exploratory testing of a web-based weather visualization platform.
• Verify radar displays, map layers, storm patterns, and data visualizations.
• Participate in live testing during tornado outbreaks and significant weather events.
• Identify, investigate, document, and communicate bugs and anomalies.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
• Evaluate end-user experience and suggest enhancements.

🎯 Requirements

• Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or weather-related discipline
• Deep understanding of weather concepts, radar maps, forecasting models, storm tracking, and data
• Regular user of different weather applications, visualization tools, or weather data sources.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills, particularly describing software bugs
• Comfortable navigating web applications and testing across multiple browsers and devices.
• Familiarity with QA concepts such as exploratory testing and regression testing is an advantage.
