📋 Description
- Perform manual and exploratory testing of an interactive, web-based weather visualization platform.
- Verify weather-focused features including radar displays, map layers, storm patterns, and data
- Participate in live testing during tornado outbreaks and significant weather events as needed.
- Identify, investigate, document, and communicate bugs and anomalies clearly.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and improve quality/usability.
- Evaluate the platform from end-user perspective and suggest enhancements based on weather knowledge.
🎯 Requirements
- Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or weather-related discipline
- Deep understanding of weather concepts: radar maps, forecasting models, storm tracking, data
- Regular user of weather apps/visualization tools/data sources.
- Strong curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Strong English communication and documentation skills to describe bugs clearly.
- Comfortable testing across multiple browsers/devices.
