Job Description
📋 Description
- Perform manual and exploratory testing of an interactive, web-based weather visualization platform.
- Verify weather-focused features, radar displays, map layers, storm patterns, and data
- Participate in live testing during tornado outbreaks and significant weather events when required.
- Identify, investigate, document, and communicate bugs and anomalies clearly.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and improve quality.
- Evaluate end-user experience and suggest weather-informed enhancements.
🎯 Requirements
- Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or related field, or a
- Deep understanding of weather concepts, radar maps, forecasting models, storm tracking, and data
- Regular user of weather apps and visualization tools; strong curiosity and attention to detail.
- Strong English communication and documentation skills; ability to describe bugs clearly.
- Comfortable navigating web apps across browsers and devices.
- Familiarity with QA concepts like exploratory and regression testing (a plus).
