📋 Description

• Perform manual and exploratory testing of an interactive, web-based weather visualization platform.
• Verify radar displays, map layers, storm patterns, and other data visualizations accurately
• Participate in live testing during tornado outbreaks and significant weather events when required.
• Identify, investigate, document, and communicate bugs, discrepancies, and anomalies.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and improve quality and usability.
• Evaluate the platform from an end-user perspective and suggest weather-informed enhancements.

🎯 Requirements

• Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or another weather-related
• Deep understanding of weather concepts, radar maps, forecasting models, storm tracking, and data
• Regular user of weather applications, visualization tools, or weather data sources.
• Strong curiosity, observation skills, and attention to detail to identify inconsistencies.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills to describe bugs clearly.
• Comfortable navigating web apps and testing across multiple browsers and devices.
