📋 Description
- Perform manual and exploratory testing of an interactive, web-based weather visualization platform.
- Verify weather-focused features (radar displays, map layers, storm patterns, data visualizations)
- Participate in live testing during tornado outbreaks and significant weather events when required.
- Identify, investigate, document, and clearly communicate bugs, discrepancies, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and support quality improvements.
- Evaluate the platform from an end-user perspective and suggest enhancements based on weather
🎯 Requirements
- Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or another weather-related
- Deep understanding of weather concepts, including radar maps, forecasting models, storm tracking
- Regular user of weather applications, visualization tools, or weather data sources.
- Strong curiosity, observation skills, and attention to detail, with ability to identify
- Strong English communication and documentation skills, especially describing software bugs clearly.
- Comfortable navigating web applications and testing across multiple browsers and devices.
