📋 Description
- Perform manual and exploratory testing of an interactive, web-based weather visualization platform.
- Verify radar displays, map layers, storm patterns, and data visualizations for accuracy.
- Participate in live testing during tornado outbreaks and significant weather events.
- Identify, investigate, document, and communicate bugs clearly.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
- Evaluate end-user experiences and suggest weather-informed enhancements.
🎯 Requirements
- Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or a weather-related
- Deep understanding of weather concepts, radar maps, forecasting models, storm tracking, and data
- Regular user of weather apps/visualization tools/data sources.
- Strong curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to spot inconsistencies.
- Strong English communication and documentation skills for reporting bugs.
- Comfortable testing across multiple browsers and devices.
