Regulated Messaging Engineer

📋 Description

• Maintain and enhance messaging transport services using SMTP
• Manage Windows Server and IIS infrastructure supporting regulated messaging workflows
• Develop Python automation, integrations, and tooling to improve efficiency
• Design and oversee messaging retention and archiving to meet global compliance
• Configure and test Proofpoint Enterprise Archive and retention capabilities
• Coordinate integrations across collaboration and messaging platforms and support migrations

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Windows engineering and architecture for SMTP forwarding, email retention, and archiving
• Hands-on experience with Windows IIS SMTP forwarding, configuration, maintenance, and optimization
• Practical experience with email retention/archiving and electronic communications vaulting
• Administration of Proofpoint Enterprise Archive; other Proofpoint products not substituting
• Strong Python skills for automation, integrations, and operational improvements
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases
