📋 Description
- Perform manual and exploratory testing of an interactive, web-based weather visualization platform.
- Verify radar displays, map layers, storm patterns, and other data visualizations.
- Participate in live testing during tornado outbreaks and significant weather events.
- Identify, investigate, document, and communicate bugs and anomalies.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
- Evaluate end-user perspective and suggest weather-based enhancements.
🎯 Requirements
- Current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or weather-related field, or
- Deep understanding of weather concepts, radar maps, forecasting models, storm tracking, and weather
- Regular user of weather apps and data sources; curiosity, attention to detail, and clear
- Strong English communication and bug description skills.
- Comfortable testing across multiple browsers and devices.
- Familiarity with exploratory and regression testing; experience with bug-tracking tools is a plus.
