Aerodynamics Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and iterate aerodynamic surfaces and OMLs using CAD
• Own the CFD workflow: geometry generation, meshing, solving, automation, post-processing
• Develop and maintain aerodynamic databases for performance, loads, stability
• Process data to develop surrogate models for design and flight dynamics
• Support aerodynamic analysis of high-lift, blown-wing, propulsion–airframe interactions
• Develop and improve internal aerodynamic tools, scripts, workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of external steady and unsteady aerodynamics simulations
• Strong fundamentals in aerodynamics, aircraft performance, and stability & control
• Software agnostic in low and high fidelity simulations
• Strong Python/MATLAB skills for CFD automation and analysis
• Experience building aerodynamic databases and large datasets
• Experience with high-lift, blown-wing, UAV or unconventional aircraft aerodynamics preferred
