📋 Description
- Design and iterate aerodynamic surfaces and OMLs using CAD
- Own the CFD workflow: geometry generation, meshing, solving, automation, post-processing
- Develop and maintain aerodynamic databases for performance, loads, stability
- Process data to develop surrogate models for design and flight dynamics
- Support aerodynamic analysis of high-lift, blown-wing, propulsion–airframe interactions
- Develop and improve internal aerodynamic tools, scripts, workflows
🎯 Requirements
- 4+ years of external steady and unsteady aerodynamics simulations
- Strong fundamentals in aerodynamics, aircraft performance, and stability & control
- Software agnostic in low and high fidelity simulations
- Strong Python/MATLAB skills for CFD automation and analysis
- Experience building aerodynamic databases and large datasets
- Experience with high-lift, blown-wing, UAV or unconventional aircraft aerodynamics preferred
