Senior Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the pricing system for all Photoroom apps (iOS/Android/Web/API)
• Collaborate with product, frontend and backend teams to design and deliver pricing architecture
• Monitor releases and performance (Datadog) and optimize endpoints for lower latency
• Implement scalable backend features for Product Growth initiatives
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback and usage data
• Maintain robust API endpoints used by millions of users

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend development experience with Django and Django Rest Framework
• Experience with relational databases at scale, designing schemas and migrations
• Experience with SaaS/subscription platforms (Stripe, RevenueCat)
• Hands-on PostgreSQL/MySQL with large datasets (>100 GB)
• Designing endpoints in collaboration with frontend engineers; OpenAPI/documentation experience
• Pragmatic approach prioritizing speed of iteration and reuse of frameworks
