Managing Staff, Embedded Software Engineer - Advanced Energy

📋 Description

• Lead a small team through embedded software development for electrosurgical devices.
• Develop software for electrosurgical and robotic products for MIS.
• Develop software/firmware in C++, C, Verilog, Python for embedded systems.
• Develop software to acquire/process/store/analyze energy data real-time.
• Develop software to support manufacturing and test teams.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and solve problems independently.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years experience and a Bachelors or 8+ years with Masters (or equivalent).
• Embedded software design in C/C++ on bare-metal and Linux.
• Peripherals: ADCs, DACs, PWM; serials I2C, SPI, RS232, CAN.
• Hands-on hardware bring-up; oscilloscope & logic analyzers.
• Strong control theory and tuning of control systems.
• Medical device industry experience; familiarity with 60601/62304 preferred.
