📋 Description

• Senior Database Engineer role focusing on document-based, distributed databases in cloud-native
• Location: Bengaluru, India; part of global engineering teams for LIMS and BPT.
• Leads design, management, and optimization of Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB in production.
• Contributes to high concurrency, low latency, multi-tenant SaaS data architectures.
• Reports to a Manager within IT Delivery Centre.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years in database engineering or related fields.
• 3+ years managing Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB in production.
• Deep Cosmos DB experience: partition keys, RU/s, indexing, TTL, multi-region replication.
• MongoDB experience: replica sets, sharding, indexing, aggregations, schema tuning.
• Strong in distributed systems, NoSQL, data architecture.
• Experience with query profiling, performance benchmarking, monitoring dashboards.
