Staff Mechanical Engineer - Advanced Energy

📋 Description

• Work in cross-functional teams to improve product performance, reliability, and capacity.
• Identify cost reductions and address supply chain challenges.
• Contribute to new Advanced Energy instrument development.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, materials, and manufacturing issues.
• Own goals aligned with project and company objectives; travel as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 12 years experience with a Bachelor's; or 8 years with a Master's; or PhD with 5 years; or
• Strong mechanical design and analytical skills.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing (injection molding, MIM, stamping, extrusion, machining).
• Materials knowledge (metals/plastics) and material properties.
• DFM/DFMA, design for reliability, scalability, and manufacturability.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred); GD&T documentation.
