📋 Description

• Senior Database Engineer focused on document-based, distributed databases in cloud-native systems.
• Lead engineering work with Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB in large-scale environments.
• Design, manage, and optimize data models and data distribution for high concurrency and low latency.
• Collaborate with global teams to automate features from idea to live product.
• Contribute to performance reviews, code walkthroughs, and system design discussions.
• Work with DevOps to implement data access layers, APIs, and IaC templates.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years in database engineering, architecture, or backend data systems.
• 3+ years managing Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB in production.
• Deep Cosmos DB knowledge: partition keys, RU/s, indexing, consistency, TTL, multi-region.
• Deep MongoDB knowledge: replica sets, sharding, indexing, pipelines, schema tuning.
• Experience designing for high concurrency and multi-tenant SaaS.
• Experience with query profiling, performance benchmarking, monitoring dashboards.
