NOC Technician (Data Center and Site Ops)

📋 Description

• Staff the Network / Campus Operations Center and monitor site health across xAI campuses
• Detect and verify campus-impacting events; assemble responders and drive incidents to completion
• Coordinate with Site Reliability Engineering, SiteOps, Facilities, HW Failure Analysis, SWE
• Operate incident communications, maintain incident timelines, and track corrective projects
• Run escalation matrices and open/close major-incident reports with cross-site coordination
• Improve NOC runbooks, handoffs, and templates; participate in game days

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ year in a 24/7 monitoring/incident-communications role (NOC/SOC/dispatch/Data Center ops)
• Strong written and verbal communication under time pressure; capable of stakeholder updates and
• Experience with dashboards, alerts, and incident response processes; ability to classify alerts and
• Familiarity with ticketing/project tools (e.g., Linear, Jira) and cross-functional coordination
• Ability to work on-shift rotations for 24/7 coverage; capable of extended hours during major
