Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Home Health

📋 Description

• Visit clients in their home to aid recovery from injury, illness, surgery, or hospitalization
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with exercises, gait training, and balance work
• Continually assess and revise the care plan in collaboration with nursing
• Progress clients from discharge to goal completion at home
• Provide education to patients and families

🎯 Requirements

• Active and current PTA license
• Graduate from a two-year APTA-approved program
• Two years PTA experience and proficiency exam as applicable
• At least one year of work under supervision of a licensed PTA
• Home healthcare experience welcomed; training provided
• Compassionate, attentive communication and reliable patient care
