Commodity Manager

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end strategy and performance of assigned commodities including sourcing strategy
• Serve as primary link between engineering teams and suppliers to ensure technical needs are
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans from market conditions and long‑term business
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to optimize total cost of ownership.
• Manage RFQ process and drive competitive pricing and sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align commodity strategies with business objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, commodity or category management in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to independently manage a commodity and deliver results across cost, quality, and
• Strong strategic/analytical mindset with problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working with engineering teams, manufacturing stakeholders, and external suppliers.
• Strong negotiation, cost analysis, market intel, and supplier evaluation skills.
