Director, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Lead, hire, and develop data engineers, analytics engineers, and data scientists
• Own architecture and roadmap for the data platform
• Set standards for trustworthy data incl. modeling, testing, freshness SLAs
• Partner with engineering on instrumentation and on-chain data ingestion
• Collaborate with analytics leadership to prioritize platform work
• Build operating rhythm to scale the team and processes

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data science
• Experience leading a multi-disciplinary data team
• Strong technical foundation to review data models and architectures
• Production experience with Airflow, dbt, Spark; cloud warehouse such as
• Track record of improving data quality and trust
• Ability to prioritize across stakeholders and build a capable team
