Operations Lead (Senior Manager)

📋 Description

• Lead Mozambique operations, including procurement, logistics, administration, and HR functions.
• Manage line reports and support development of high-performing teams.
• Design clear roles, responsibilities, and SOPs to enable independent, high-standard operations.
• Drive cost-effective systems for scale and continuous process improvements.
• Oversee procurement planning, budgeting, and risk management to ensure smooth operations.
• Explore data-driven insights and AI/digital solutions to boost scalability.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in operations management with strong procurement and logistics expertise.
• Proven ability to build, mentor, and develop teams in a fast-paced, non-hierarchical environment.
• Strong financial/budget management and experience driving cost-effectiveness.
• Experience working with HR, recruitment, learning and development, and culture initiatives.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and data-driven decision making.
• Knowledge of Mozambique regulatory environment for NGO operations is a plus; English required
