Senior Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and build the dbt models that turn raw platform, on-chain / off-chain trading activity, and
• Own the definitions of core metrics (volume, traders, retention, acquisition cost, revenue) for
• Partner with data engineers on the warehouse layer, including materialized views, incremental
• Build and maintain self-serve reporting in Vercel dashboards and Hex for growth, marketing
• Translate open-ended questions into durable models rather than one-off queries
• Write tests and monitoring at the model layer to surface data quality issues early

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering or similar, with production modeling layer ownership
• Expert SQL with ability to read, write, and optimize complex queries
• Hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow, and a modern cloud warehouse (Databricks, Snowflake
• Strong dimensional modeling and metric design skills; know when to denormalize
• Fluency with BI tools like Hex or Looker; focus on self-serve dashboards
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: version control, code reviews, maintainable projects
