Staff Data Engineer - AI Platform

📋 Description

• Own performance tuning on StarRocks serving layer using AI-assisted profiling to fix slow queries
• Build and harden data pipelines feeding government cloud investigations with AI-assisted workflows.
• Reduce single-point-of-failure risk by becoming the second engineer to operate the serving layer
• Use AI-assisted debugging and log analysis to triage production issues in a regulated environment.

🎯 Requirements

• US citizenship is required due to government cloud data access requirements.
• Hands-on experience operating distributed OLAP/serving-layer systems (StarRocks, Trino, ClickHouse
• Experience owning data pipeline reliability and incident response; comfort using AI tools (Claude
• Independent ownership mindset with ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar production infrastructure
