National Security Policy, Senior Manager

📋 Description

• Support Scale's AI policy engagement with the National Security apparatus.
• Collaborate with the Public Sector Business Unit to shape DoD, Intelligence, and related programs
• Develop and execute Scale's policy strategy and priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and build templates for recurring processes.
• Prepare briefing materials, memos, and talking points for senior leaders and external engagements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and long-term engagement planning.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-8 years in defense policy, government, defense tech, or related fields.
• Experience with consensus-building at trade associations or standards bodies.
• Experience supporting responses to rulemakings or requests for comment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical experience in research/publication or government tech policy exposure.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
