Sr. Security Engineer - GRC EU/UK Regulation & Data Protection

📋 Description

• Governance, risk, and compliance for EU/UK security and finance rules
• Architect controls integrated into engineering and CI/CD
• Support audit readiness and regulatory evidence collection
• Collaborate with Architects/Engineering to embed requirements in design
• Lead risk assessments for EU/UK regulated systems and vendors
• Engage with auditors and regulatory contacts when needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS/InfoSec or related STEM field
• 5+ years in GRC, security compliance, or tech audits (fintech/banking)
• Hands-on with DORA, EU AI Act, NIS2, PSD2/PSR or PRA/FCA resilience
• Experience with GDPR (EU/UK) and privacy liaison
• Experience with Compliance-as-Code and GRC tools (e.g., Vanta)
• Fluent in security-architecture language across cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
