Associate Compliance Officer

📋 Description

• Assist onboarding by gathering and organizing required documentation per BSA/AML, OFAC, and FinCEN
• Collect and verify client docs including formation, ownership structures, and beneficial ownership
• Perform risk assessments on potential clients using established frameworks
• Flag suspicious activity and escalate issues to senior staff during onboarding
• Coordinate with sales and operations to gather outstanding client information
• Maintain complete onboarding records and support periodic reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in compliance, finance, banking, or related operations
• Knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, FinCEN; CDD and KYB concepts
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and proactive problem-solving
• Ability to manage a queue, prioritize deadlines, and meet service levels
• Comfort with compliance tech platforms and quick learning of systems
