Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own full accounting cycle, reconciliations, month/year-end close, financial reporting.
• Oversee job costing and WIP across construction projects.
• Manage percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing.
• Provide financial guidance to leadership for decision-making.
• Lead integration of external apps with QuickBooks Online.
• Oversee payables/receivables, expenses, subcontractor payments, vendor interactions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of accounting with US-based companies; CPA preferred.
• Strong construction or job-costed accounting experience.
• Experience with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Proven financial judgment in a fast-growing org; prioritization skills.
• Ability to coach accounting professionals; leading experience a plus.
• Familiar with federally funded/government project accounting is desirable.
