Materials Analyst, TEM

📋 Description

• Obtain TEM and STEM images of prepared samples
• Acquire STEM/EDX and STEM/EELS spectra, line scans and maps
• Organize data, prepare and deliver summary reports to customers
• Partner with customers and team members to optimize experiments
• Develop TEM analysis protocols for new sample types
• Work schedule: 5pm-2am Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu (shift differential applies)

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Materials Science & Engineering or related field
• Excellent TEM operation and theory understanding
• Experience with TEM sample prep and hard materials characterization
• Solid understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics and failure analysis
