📋 Description
- Lead strategic legal and business guidance across Hasbro Entertainment’s film and TV slate.
- Serve as primary legal advisor to development, production, business and creative executives.
- Structure, negotiate and close business transactions balancing legal, creative and business
- Oversee rights clearance, chain of title, and IP protection across development to library
- Support production financing, co-production, distribution, licensing and other strategic deals.
🎯 Requirements
- 8–12+ years of relevant entertainment business & legal affairs experience.
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active California Bar membership.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills for film and television transactions.
- Deep knowledge of IP, rights management, and guild/union agreements (WGA, DGA, SAG-AFTRA).
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters with sound legal/business judgment.
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
