- Lead user-centered design research within product teams
- Perform usability testing and analyze use-related risks
- Translate user needs into usability and UI requirements
- Develop prototypes to explore performance influences
- Coordinate across sub-systems and teams
- Ensure safety, usability, and desirability in designs
🎯 Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years in industry
- Strong technical communication and business acumen
- Ability to synthesize large data into clear insights
- Knowledge of robotic systems, mech design, sensing, control, software/simulation
- Experience with user-centered design and usability engineering
- BS/MS in HFE, cognitive psychology, biomedical/mechanical eng, CS, HCI, or related
