Director of Workforce Development

📋 Description

• The Director leads strategy, implementation, and oversight for GLIDE’s workforce development
• Oversee pathway development, community training, job readiness, and employment placement with
• Build partnerships with community, funders, employers, and training providers to expand
• Design and oversee recruitment, enrollment, progression, assessment, and reporting across GLIDE’s
• Supervise staff and partners, ensuring accountability and timely deliverables.
• Ensure compliant documentation in required systems and alignment with funder requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience in workforce
• Minimum 5 years of workforce development/youth employment experience; 3+ years in
• Experience designing and coordinating workforce programs, group facilitation, and participant
• Strong trauma-informed, healing-centered, and equity-based approaches.
• Excellent project management, collaboration across teams, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to synthesize complex material and meet contract deliverables.
