Job Description
📋 Description
- The Director leads strategy, implementation, and oversight for GLIDE’s workforce development
- Oversee pathway development, community training, job readiness, and employment placement with
- Build partnerships with community, funders, employers, and training providers to expand
- Design and oversee recruitment, enrollment, progression, assessment, and reporting across GLIDE’s
- Supervise staff and partners, ensuring accountability and timely deliverables.
- Ensure compliant documentation in required systems and alignment with funder requirements.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience in workforce
- Minimum 5 years of workforce development/youth employment experience; 3+ years in
- Experience designing and coordinating workforce programs, group facilitation, and participant
- Strong trauma-informed, healing-centered, and equity-based approaches.
- Excellent project management, collaboration across teams, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to synthesize complex material and meet contract deliverables.
