Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and
• Oversee job costing and WIP across multiple construction projects, ensuring accuracy and
• Manage percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing for residential
• Provide financial guidance to leadership to support sound decision-making.
• Lead integration and optimization of external apps with QuickBooks Online to improve workflows.
• Oversee AP/AR, expense management, subcontractor payments, and vendor/client interactions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of accounting with U.S.-based companies; CPA preferred.
• Strong construction/job-costing accounting knowledge across multiple projects.
• Experience with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams in related environments.
• Ability to make sound financial judgments in a fast-paced, growing org.
• Experience mentoring accounting professionals; management title not required.
• Familiarity with federally funded/project accounting (certified payroll, prevailing wage, DCAA)
