Senior System Engineer (Virtual Private Cloud Team)

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain control-plane and data-plane components for cloud network services.
• Build and improve core Virtual Private Cloud capabilities for reliable IP connectivity across cloud
• Increase scalability, performance and reliability of networking services.
• Develop networking functionality such as IPv6 support, service endpoints, VPC peering, L7 load
• Improve internal architecture and interactions between networking and cloud services.
• Design and implement automation for complex cross-service interactions.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience with reliable, efficient, high-performance production code.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Go, with ability to work with both languages.
• Solid understanding of computer networking and practical experience with routing traffic.
• Ability to reason about complex systems and distributed service interactions.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills for reliability and performance issues.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure, cloud platforms or networking systems is valuable.
