📋 Description

• Design and evolve backend systems for real-time collaborative document editing for tens of
• Own content model and data persistence; schema design, migrations, compatibility, maintainability.
• Build and maintain event-driven pipelines (Kafka, NATS) across services to keep document state
• Contribute to reliability, observability, and operational excellence of Python microservices.
• Ship features end-to-end from backend to production monitoring; consider post-release behavior.
• Contribute to AI-powered capabilities and agentic document workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Python development in production environments.
• Strong experience with relational databases: SQL, schema design, migrations, query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with message queues and event-driven architectures (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ or

• Experience building and operating microservice architectures at scale.
• Ability to reason about distributed systems: consistency, ordering, failure modes.
