Senior Software Engineer - Backend and Data

📋 Description

• Build next-level content platform and data intelligence
• Low-latency, streaming and batch data pipelines
• Design and support microservices-based backend systems
• Collaborate with product and data teams; influence architecture
• Participate in roadmap and own new projects
• Working on data platforms powering Roku services

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python
• Deep knowledge of backend tech, microservices, APIs
• Experience with data pipelines, Spark, Flink, Kafka
• Experience with Airflow, cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong communication, ability to drive architecture decisions
