📋 Description

• Perform routine sample preparation using wet chemistry techniques, and smoking machines for tobacco
• Perform analytical testing of tobacco using GC/GCMS and other ancillary laboratory equipment
• Perform all lab work with high degree of accuracy and precision
• Document results accurately in notebooks and computer systems
• Read, understand, and interpret analytical procedures, update procedures as needed
• Perform instrument calibration, recognizes errors, identifies root causes, applies process

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree in chemistry, biology, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent
• 2-4 years working with GC
• Experience in a cGMP and ISO 17025 environment
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of chromatography, experience with Empower or Chromeleon software helpful
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
