Laboratory Assistant

📋 Description

• Perform accessioning, specimen management, data entry and storage with proficiency
• Operate front end processing automation equipment as assigned
• Label, store, and retrieve samples; prepare for shipping per requirements
• Maintain QC/QA records; adhere to safety and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with lab staff to complete daily activities
• Level II/III responsibilities include leadership and workflow oversight

🎯 Requirements

• Level I: High School diploma; minimum 2 years clinical lab experience; 1 year data entry
• Must be comfortable with raw specimen handling; read and follow SOPs
• Proficiency with PC software; database skills; evening/weekend availability
• Level II: leadership abilities; advanced problem solving
• Level III: ability to supervise, train, manage daily workload and workflow
