📋 Description
- Own greenfield work in Wealthsimple's card program
- End-to-end projects across the card stack
- Build backend systems powering card products
- Work on core infrastructure: issuance, tokenization, auth flows, BIN mgmt, transactions
- Make architectural decisions balancing speed, quality, scale
- Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver outcomes
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering
- Experience with backend systems in payments/financial services
- Strong backend fundamentals and system correctness at scale
- Maker-owner mindset and comfort with greenfield work
- AI-first development workflow experience
- Product judgment and clear communication
