Student Worker - Machine Learning Engineer - Data Mining & VLM

📋 Description

• Support RotR program by mining and triaging potential events from simulation and fleet data
• Develop and iterate on data miners locating RotR violations following SSO requirements
• Build and evaluate VLM/LLM workflows and pipelines for event classification
• Curate golden datasets and measure triager precision/recall against human triage

🎯 Requirements

• Extend triagers from simulation to fleet/service data
• Strong Python / Pyspark / SQL skills
• Coursework in ML, CV, or NLP; understanding of supervised learning, model eval, data bias and label
• Analyze error cases and translate findings into pipeline improvements
• Hands-on experience building production LLM/VLM apps, including agentic workflows, RAG, tool
• Familiarity with Git, unit testing, debugging, and code reviews
