📋 Description
- Lead automation and controls scope for new equipment and lines
- Design, program, and deploy PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and networks
- Define scope, specs, budgets, timelines, and resource plans
- Manage multiple automation projects against cost and schedule targets
- Coordinate design reviews, FATs, SATs, installation, and startup
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, IT, Quality, and Maintenance
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation or related field
- 3+ years as a Controls/Automation Engineer in manufacturing
- Strong PLC programming expertise (Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Omron, Siemens)
- Experience with Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, IO-Link
- Hands-on robotics, vision systems, VFDs, servo motion control
- Ability to travel 35-40% across US, Mexico and vendor locations
