Cybersecurity Engineer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Security, Engineering and Service teams to address escalated issues and SOC
• Lead incident coordination with internal and external entities per regulatory requirements
• Support new security initiatives and security projects
• Communicate security concepts effectively to management, peers, and clients
• Maintain awareness of security and control issues in emerging technologies
• Own and follow up on issues to resolution, including after-hours/on-call as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in a systems engineering or technical security role
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or similar
• Security certifications such as MCSE, CompTIA Security+/CySA/SSCP; cloud security certs are a plus
• Experience with incident response lifecycle and security remediation processes
• Familiarity with tools like Palo Alto, Cisco Meraki, SonicWall, Fortigate, SentinelOne
• Experience with Microsoft 365/Azure, Citrix, Open-source intel gathering, scripting and MS Graph
