Web Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Own WordPress backend, custom post types, taxonomies, fields, templates, plugins/themes in PHP
• Maintain plugin strategy, upgrade cadence, and Elementor at platform level
• Manage staging to production deployments with version control
• Oversee site reliability, performance, caching, CDN, and backups
• Ensure website security, privacy compliance, and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years back-end web development with WordPress
• Fluent in PHP, MySQL; strong WordPress API knowledge
• JavaScript ability for front-end/back-end integration
• Experience in version-controlled, staging-to-prod workflows
• Technical SEO, Site Audit, GA4/Tag Manager, and HubSpot integration experience
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA, security hardening, backups, and incident response
