Senior Community Manager

📋 Description

• Lead dbt community team efforts to empower data practitioners worldwide.
• Manage and grow the dbt Slack community; create welcoming, high-signal space.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen member experience and surface insights.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in digital community management or related roles in global/distributed settings.
• Experience owning day-to-day operations for large online communities (Slack/Discord/forum).
• Strong understanding of online community dynamics; foster trust and belonging at scale.
• Experience designing moderation/workflows and Code of Conduct enforcement.
• Excellent written communication; de-escalation and productive conversation facilitation.
• Experience using community tooling/analytics (Slack workflows, Common Room, etc.).
