Sr Manager, Aerostructures Design, X-BAT

📋 Description

• Lead aerostructures design organization for the X-BAT program
• Drive lightweight, manufacturable, survivable aircraft structures
• Collaborate with flight sciences, propulsion, avionics, manufacturing, autonomy, flight test, and
• Establish engineering processes, design standards, and roadmaps
• Oversee composite and metallic airframe structures, including primary load-bearing assemblies
• Build and mentor a world-class aerostructures team for rapid execution

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 12+ years of aerospace structural engineering with leadership on advanced aircraft programs
• Deep expertise in primary structures, composites, metallic design, structural analysis, and
• Experience leading teams through full aircraft development cycles
• Strong understanding of loads, stress, fatigue, durability, and substantiation methodologies
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
