Quantity Takeoff Specialist

📋 Description

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for flooring, tile, cabinets, and countertops from blueprints
• Calculate material quantities in correct units (SF, SY, LF, EA) with waste factors and room
• Quantify trim, transition strips, thresholds, edge profiles, and cabinet boxes from schedules
• Cross-reference finish schedules with drawings to flag discrepancies
• Use digital takeoff tools to label quantities and trace to source documents

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or diploma in quantity surveying, construction management, architecture, or related field
• 2+ years in construction takeoffs, estimating, or quantity surveying
• Proficiency with MeasureSquare 8 and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to read architectural drawings, specs, and finish schedules
• Strong math and attention to detail; fluent written/spoken English
• Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable computer; US overlap required
