📋 Description
- Lead drug product manufacturing process early phase development for synthetic molecule candidates
- Collaborate with development CMC teams to align with intended commercial sites
- Mentor peers and influence senior leadership with expert insights
- Advance technologies that expand AbbVie's small molecule formulation capabilities
- Partner cross-functionally to support drug discovery and development programs
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
🎯 Requirements
- BS (+14 yr experience) MS (+12 yr. experience) or PhD (+6 yr experience) in Chemical Engineering or
- Strong project leadership in drug product development
- Deep understanding of manufacturing platforms: direct compression, wet & dry granulation, hot
- Experience with tableting, encapsulation and film coating
- Strong knowledge of powder material properties and impact on manufacturability
- Ability to apply models to optimize development and scale-up to pilot plant
