Staff Backend Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead and evolve cross-team architectural decisions for scalability, resilience, and performance
• Act as a technical reference to define stack technologies, patterns, and solutions
• Develop critical backend solutions with architectural trade-offs and implementation direction
• Mentor engineers, promote best practices, design patterns, and clean code
• Define standards for quality, security, performance, architecture, and engineering practices
• Improve code reviews, test coverage, CI/CD, and semantic versioning

🎯 Requirements

• Solid professional experience with Java and Kotlin, backend development
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, microservices, distributed systems, and software architecture
• Hands-on with relational and non-relational databases: MongoDB, DataStore, PostgreSQL
• Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud-native technologies
• Experience with messaging/event-driven systems: Kafka, SNS, SQS
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform in production
